5. Our own website measurement (consent required)
If you accept analytics through the cookie banner, Horex records basic, first-party usage information so we can see how the site is performing. This does not use cookies and does not involve any third party. It stores a randomly generated visitor identifier in your browser's local storage and a session identifier in session storage, and records page views, approximate time on page, scroll depth, clicks on links and buttons, the page address, the referring page, and general device, browser and operating system type. This data contains no name, email address or advertising identifier and is not used for advertising or profiling.
Until you grant consent, this measurement is completely inactive: no usage events are recorded, no measurement listeners are attached, and no visitor or session identifier is created. If you decline or later withdraw consent, any previously stored visitor and session identifiers are removed from your browser and measurement stops immediately.
5a. Third-party analytics cookies
Third-party analytics tools are only loaded if you grant consent through the cookie banner. If you decline, they are never loaded and set no cookies.
6. Google Analytics
Google Analytics may be used to collect anonymised information about website traffic and visitor behaviour. It is only activated if an administrator configures a Google Analytics measurement ID and you grant consent through the cookie banner. If active, Google Analytics may set cookies on your device in accordance with Google's own privacy practices.
7. Microsoft Clarity
Microsoft Clarity may be used to record anonymised session replays and heatmaps to help us improve the website experience. It is only activated if an administrator configures a Microsoft Clarity project ID and you grant consent through the cookie banner. If active, Microsoft Clarity may set cookies on your device in accordance with Microsoft's own privacy practices.
8. Managing your cookie preferences
On your first visit, a cookie banner asks you to accept or decline analytics cookies, and your choice is saved in your browser's local storage. You can change your preference at any time by clearing your browser's local storage for this site, which makes the banner appear again, or by contacting us.
You can also manage cookies through your browser settings. Most browsers allow you to block or delete cookies. Please note that blocking essential cookies may prevent parts of the website from working correctly.
9. How cookie preferences affect functionality
Declining analytics cookies will not affect your ability to browse the website or submit a project inquiry. Essential cookies, including those required for authentication and security, will continue to function.
